The purpose of this agreement is to ensure all parties concerned are aware of the same information.

Timing

We recommend that orders be placed at least four to five months before the wedding date to ensure fabric availability, and time for shipping and alterations, if necessary.  Upon order confirmation, Ribbon will supply the bride with an approximate shipping date.  (Please note: that all ship dates are approximate and may vary.) The Bride is responsible for ensuring the maids submit their information in a timely manner in order to avoid a rush situation.  Rush charges apply to all orders placed less than 14 weeks before the event.  As the event approaches, rush charges increase.  Please call for rates.  When the gowns arrive to Ribbon, the bride and all the maids will be contact via email or phone, once.  It is the responsibility of the bride and maids to make arrangements for alterations and or shipping.

Sizing and Collection of Information

All maids are required to enter all sizing, payment and personal information at www.ribbonbridal.com to ensure that the proper information is gathered and accurate.  It is at that point that they may choose their own size, based on the size charts provided on www.ribbonbridal.com, or call Ribbon for assistance.  We are happy to suggest a size based on the measurements provided, but ultimately, the size choice is up to the maid in question.  Dresses are not custom made to the measurements and in most cases, additional alterations are necessary.  PLEASE NOTE: If you are taller than 5’8″ you may need extra length OR if your measurements suggest a size larger than an 18, additional charges will apply and vary with each manufacturer.  Orders are placed based on the information given so it is imperative that the information be true and accurate.  Orders will be placed when all memebers of the bridal party have submitted their information.  If it is impossible for a maid to submit information on www.ribbonbridal.com, Ribbon will accept this information in writing via fax or email, no orders will be taken over the phone.

Payment

Ribbon accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover for payment.  Upon placing your order, a deposit of half down per ensemble will be charged and the balance will be charged to the same card when the completed order arrives at Ribbon.  If a maid would like to use another form of payment for the balance, please make the proper arrangements with Ribbon within 4 weeks of the original order.  Gowns will not leave Ribbon until paid in full.  If the bride or another party would like to supplement part of the cost of the order, please contact Ribbon to make special arrangements.

Distribution

Ribbon will contact the brides and all bridesmaids immediately when the gowns are delivered to the salon.  Please specify at www.ribbonbridal.com if you would prefer notification via email or phone.  One notification will be given, it will then be the bridal party’s responsibility to make arrangements for their individual gowns.  Maids have the option of picking up their gowns at Ribbon or having their gown shipped to them via priority ground service for a fee of $15.00.  We are required to collect 6% sales tax on all items picked up at the salon or delivered within the state of Pennsylvania.

Fabric

All garments purchased from Ribbon are made from quality fabrics.  If you are ordering ensembles made from silk shantung or silk duppioni please note that both are hand-woven silk textiles.  They may contain variations and irregularities, which are characteristics of fine silk yarn.  These characteristics enhance the natural beauty of the fabrics and in no way should be treated as defects.  Maid gowns are ordered at the same time to minimize the risk of dye lot variations.  While each manufacture strives to standardize their colors, dye lots in the fabric may vary.

Returns

All garments are made to order, there are no returns or exchanges.  All sales are final, no exceptions.
